You know, I'm also planning to read Ditko's Dr. Strange soon. I've got a bid on eBay for a collection. I recently read the Marvel Masterworks reprint of the first few Strange Tales stories and now I'm totally hooked.
I think these are from Superman #400 back in 1984 or so. I LOVED that issue. I wish DC would reprint it in a quality edition. Completely stand alone stories with some amazing artwork.
Yeah these are from Superman 400. I agree its a GREAT issue, and there's many other great artists in there besides these two. I love the Steranko story at the end of the book, and Frank Miller's story is interesting, too.
With apologies to Frank Quitely and Jamie Grant, I would pay twice as much for 12 issues drawn by either of these guys.

I want Steve Ditko Batman.
I'm reading his Dr.Strange, and I must say Ditko looks great in black and white.
